What We Believe

We believe in the Bible:

We take the Bible as the foundation of our faith and practice. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

We believe in the Heavenly Trio:

There is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19; Hebrews 1:8; Acts 5:1-4

We believe in Creation:

God created our world in six days about six thousand years ago. Genesis chapters 1 and 2

We believe in the seventh-day Sabbath:

We keep the seventh-day Sabbath as a memorial of God's creative works. Genesis 2: 1-3; Exodus 20:8-11; Mark 2:27-28; Luke 4:16; Acts 13:14, 18:4

We believe that Adam and Eve were created in God's Image:

In the beginning Adam and Eve had a likeness to God both physically and spiritually. Gen 1:26-27

We believe that Adam And Eve received a sinful nature due to their disobedience:

With this fallen nature man was now in enmity with God. Genesis 3:15; Romans 8:6-7

We believe that Jesus took upon Himself our likeness and lived a sinless life:

By living a sinless life in His purity of nature, Jesus is able to give us the victory over every sinful tendency. In so doing, He is able to restore in man the image of God. Hebrews 2:14-17; Philippians 2:7; 7B 447.2-448.2

We believe that Jesus is our high priest in the heavenly sanctuary:

At His ascension, Jesus entered the Holy Place of the heavenly sanctuary to begin His high priestly work. Since 1844, He has been in the Most Holy Place of the heavenly sanctuary to begin the investigative judgment and to finish His high priestly work prior to His Second Coming. Hebrews 4: 14-16; Daniel 7: 7-10; 8:14 Acts 17:30-31; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 14:6-7

We believe that we are to keep the Ten commandments of God:

We are able to have the law written upon our hearts and minds by receiving Christ's perfect life as our own. Hebrews 10:16; Jeremiah 23:6; Romans 8:3-4; 1 John 1-3

We believe that the Second Coming of Christ is imminent:

The signs of Christ's soon return are fast fulfilling. The prophecies point to the soon return of CHrist. Matthew 24:3-7, 23-27, 37-39; 2 Timothy 4:1

We believe that the dead in Christ are in the grave awaiting the resurrection:

It is at the Second Coming of Christ that the dead in Christ will be raised from their dusty graves; together with the living saints they will be taken to heaven. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; 1 Corinthians 15:20-22, 51-53; John 5:25-29; 6:40; 11:24-25; 14: 1-3

We believe that God will have a pure church in the end of time:

Like the early church, this last day church will keep the commandments of God and possess the prophetic gift. Compare Revelation 12:1 with 12:17 with 19:10

We believe that God called Ellen G. White as a prophetess for the last days:

The prophetic gift was one of many gifts of the Spirit to purify the church and to prepare her for the soon return of Christ. Ephesians 4: 11-16
